Tried And True! Elementary PBL Projects that will not fail!

Suzie Boss from the Buck Institute for Education recommended some good elementary projects at the recent webinar she hosted. These projects have been used successfully in a variety of different settings. Any sites struggling to plan projects or having challenges with student engagement should consider trying these projects. Feel free to adapt the projects to work at your site.

Flat Stanley Project – In this project you send Flat Stanley around the city/state/earth to discover new friends and new places.  This is a great way to connect with a community of learners and for youth to engage in authentic, hands-on learning.  More Info.

Monster Project This project focuses on building teams to carry out the goal  of  making a monster. This is a great project for youth develop a sense of what “project mode” looks and feels like.  More Info.
