New York Times Article on Project Learning

Check out the recent article in the New York Times Opinion Pages on an Independent Project model used in one Massachusetts high school.  A small group of students designed their own inquiry-based curriculum and devoted to themselves to answering complex questions that interested them.  This approach had a dramatic effect on youth achievement, including re-engaging some youth who were previously on the verge of dropping out of school.
