Read for the Record!

Thanks to the efforts of Jumpstart’s Read for the Record campaign, today over 2 million people will read “Llama Llama Red Pajama” by Anna Dewdney. Read for the Record is a record-setting campaign to raise awareness of the early education achievement gap, and to call for its end.

For OST providers who use Project-Based Learning, Read for the Record is also an excellent reminder of the importance of incorporating literacy into project plans, particularly for younger students. For more thoughts on incorporating literacy in PBL, see here.
