Lights On Afterschool 2012 – a rally for afterschool programs – will take
place Thursday, October 18th from 4:00pm to 5:45pm on the Thomas Paine Plaza (1401 JFK Blvd., 19102). More than 500 youth, staff members, and family members are registered to attend. A DJ will be spinning hits, and the crowds will be entertained by six youth performances, moved by three powerful youth speakers, and engaged in fun & informative activities on the plaza. We hope that you can join us and make the crowd even bigger!
In the event of inclement weather, festivities will be moved to the Free Library’s Central Branch at 1901 Vine St., 19103. Any weather related announcements will be made on Tuesday, October 16th.
